AIM Casino Market September 2023 statistics – it gets much, much worse by the day

The AIM Market statistics for September 2023 have arrived. It is another shit show from the self styled world’s most successful growth market and a reminder to those crony capitalists heading to the black tie AIM awards beanfeast next week what a total “fuck you” message that sends to those ultimately funding the ceremony, that is to say ordinary investors.

AIM Awards shortlist out – more nauseating self indulgence, but perhaps it tells us where value lies

As David Lenigas so rightly pointed out the other day, AIM is not the world’s most successful growth market, as it claims, it is dying on its feet. It is on track to suffer its worst year in history in terms of fundraisings, investors are set for another year of negative returns and the number of companies is shrinking rapidly to more than 20 year lows. Yet the fat cats, the crony capitalists who have grown rich are preparing for a black tie feast of back slapping and self indulgence, where tickets costing hundreds of pounds and vast drinks bills are ultimately pad for by you, investors. The AIM Awards shortlists are out. It is nauseating.>You pay for the 12 October bean feast as you are shareholders in companies which pay vast fees to Nomads, brokers,, PR fluffies, lawyers and accountants and it is they who are paying thousands of pounds to book tables at this event. It is YOUR money being spaffed. Given how badly AIM has performed this year those firms booking tables should be utterly ashamed. Anyhow, the shortlists are out as you can see below.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Kefi shareholders drive me to an early grave

I discuss GroupThink on Bulletin Boards as the word Shareprophets is banned on the LSE Asylum, the AIM awards and the corruption of the sewer and Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI). Also an update on the Skinbiotherapeutics (SBTX) video.

The AIM awards shortlists are out – I'm gutted not to be up for Diversity Champion!

I would like to see some real diversity on AIM. CEOs  & FD’s who are not grossly overpaid are woefully under-represented right now. As are Non Execs who hold CEOs and FDs to account. As for directors going for performance related pay & who buy meaningful amounts of shares in the market, they are almost non-existent. How about getting some diversity by getting rid of layers of fat cats, crony capitalists and fraudsters?  Oh, that is not what the AIM awards team means with its new diversity champion award is it?

Will Novacyt follow Bidstack or Henderson Morley?

The Annual AIM awards were a virtual event this year. So there was no need for 1200 crony capitalists from the City to fork out £150 for a ticket, pour themselves into DJs and party frocks and head off to tell each other how wonderful they all were. The crony capitalists will have to spend cash ultimately leached from mug punter investors elsewhere. What good news for coke suppliers and hookers.

You could not make it up – look who is sponsoring the crony capitalist beanfeast that is the AIM Awards

Each year 1200 crony capitalists dress up in DJ’s and party frocks to attend the AIM awards dinner. Of course, ultimately, it is shareholders like you, ordinar investors,  who pay for this obscene bean feast. They put up the cash the companies pay the advisers who then book the tables at thousands of pounds a pop. Shareholders lose money on AIM, fat cat directors and crony capitalists swill champagne at their expense. What is not to like? So which fine firms are sponsoring this year’s event? You could not make this up…

Tonight’s AIM awards Black-tie Dinner will nauseate more than ever but will a hat-trick of wins for First Derivatives expose this sham to one and all?

I cannot remember the last time a Northern Ireland player scored a hat-trick in an international. But tonight I am hopeful that Belfast’s finest, First Derivatives (FDP), will pick up three gongs at the annual AIM Awards crony capitalists bean-feast and do the six counties proud. Heading the charge is CEO Brian Conlon who is short-listed for “entrepreneur of the year” sponsored by Octopus Investments. The Judges will have ruled on that before we pointed out that his whole IPO was based on a fraud. It gets better…

The 2016 AIM Awards - Crony Capitalists spunk £750,000 of your cash - winners announced

BBC presenter Sophie Raworth, picked up £10,000 for hosting the 2016 AIM Awards. Heck since this whole £750,000 event is ultimately funded by investors in AIM Casino stocks I am sure you won't begrudge her trousering some of YOUR cash. Anyhow here are the winners from the lavish 2016 ceremony:

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Bring out the piano wire for the AIM awards tonight & are you boycotting marmite?

I start with the bust up over marmite and other matters between Tesco (TSCO) and Unilever (ULVR). Naturally the democracy denying liberal establishment bastards at the BBC blame Brexit for sterling's slide and this - I explained here why this was wrong. I explain what this battle is really about. I then look at DiamondCorp (DCP), Iofina (IOF), Goldstone Resources (GRL) and Magnolia Petroleum (MAGP). I end with a look at the AIM awards. I get really angry at this point and when the anarcho capitalist revolution arrives the 2,500 crony capitalists spending £750,000 of YOUR cash tonight merit a meeting with piano wire.

The elephant in the AIM abuse room: expenses and corporate entertainment - hookers on the tab & the AIM awards

The revelations this week about how both Teathers Financial (TEA), notably HERE & HERE, and the former manager at Wandisco (WAND), HERE, have pillaged shareholder funds to allow management, their wives and pals to live the high life have been shocking. That the Teathers boys thought racking up a bar tab in one night which was greater than the UK average post tax monthly wage just shows how distorted was their value set. But this is the tip of a very enormous iceberg on AIM and among the crony capitalists who service AIM Companies. And it's all your money. I write today not to expose but to call for specific changes.

The AIM Casino Awards Dinner Tonight - caption Contest

I have vented my spleen already today  in UK Investor Show Magazine HERE about the 1300 crony capitalists who will tonight eat, drink and be merry at YOUR expense at the AIM awards. So here is a little cartoon and I invite you to post your caption in the comments section below. For what it is worth...

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 7 October - can life get any worse? Paul Scott gives me advice on healthy living

In today's podcast I reveal how Paul Scott thinks we can all attain the body beautiful. I then move on to discuss Iofina (IOF), madness, sheer madness on buy to let, Grafenia (GRA), Botswana Diamonds (BOD), Boxhill Tech (BOX), JQW (JQW), Jiasen (JSI) and the crony capitalist beanfeast tomorrow YOU are paying for at the AIM awards dinner. I am angry about that and also discuss, in anger, SeaEnergy (SEA) and Eclectic Bars (BAR)

Piers Linney of Outsourcery – Entrepreneur of the year? You’re ‘avin’ a bubble!

All business awards ceremonies are a load of cock where those obsessed with personal PR, lobby and self-promote and then slap themselves on the back. I shall be turning my fire on the AIM awards very shortly. But as it happens I think the Black business awards make a serious point, but this year they may well lose all credibility as Piers Linney of AIM casino disaster story Outsourcery (OUT) is up for a gong.

It is surely not a bad thing to make a section of society that economically underachieves (Afro Caribbean and African youth) realise that there are alternative role models than moron soccer players and other celebs. Being an entrepreneur is a good thing – it creates jobs and wealth. As such I have some sympathy with the objective of these awards. But Piers Linney, entrepreneur of the year?

I know he is on telly (Dragon’s Den) and I know he CLAIMS to be worth £100 million. But the hard facts are that – as exposed HERE – his business career has been one of a string of utter trainwrecks, creating no jobs – as almost every firm he established has closed down – and losing folks stacks of cash.

Outsourcery was floated on AIM in May 2013 since when it has sent almost £20 million to money heaven. It is

AIM Awards 2014 – Nominate Kevin Ashton NOW for the Quindell note he did not publish & humiliate Canaccord

This October the Crony Capitalists who make money from AIM will gather to celebrate another year of making money as Nomads, brokers, PR advisers, lawyers and overpaid directors at a lavish awards dinner. The poor investors whose wealth has been transferred to the crony capitalists will not need to get their DJ’s cleaned as awards for “excellence” are handed out. But if any pissed off peasants want to revolt we suggest you nominate now for research of the year Mr Kevin Ashton.

Mr Ashton was a star analyst at Canaccord - the firm that sponsors this particular award and which earns big fees acting for Quindell (QPP). Mr Ashton refused
